Anakin's 2nd Birthday Party

My youngest baby boy turned two on July 10th! I don't know where the time has gone. I didn't take very many pictures like I normally do. I wanted to just enjoy the time.

It was a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party at Carl Cowan Park and Splash Pad.

It was a great party! We had subway catering and we were surrounded by great friends and family. Anakin thanks everyone who was able to come!

4th of July Fun

Since 4th of July landed on a Monday, we had a three day weekend. We wanted to get out of town, but still wanted to have a relaxing weekend. We stayed in Chattanooga for the weekend and then drove down to Atlanta for a day as well.

It probably seems like all we do is eat, but what else is there to do? We visited a few malls in Atlanta and of course ate some amazing food!

For the first time we tried Burgerfi and oh my goodness! I can't even begin to express how amazing this burger was! Even my husband said I must have liked it a lot because I was quiet during lunch.

The whole reason we go to Atlanta is for these cupcakes (which is the closest location to us). If you have never tried Sprinkles cupcakes, you are missing out on some deliciousness!

Back in Chattanooga, we always have to stop at the Ice Cream Show (basically the only reason we go to Chattanooga).

The many times we have gone to Chattanooga, we have never been to the Railroad Museum, but we went this trip and our boys loved it! We didn't do any of the train rides this trip, but were able to check out all of the trains outside.

We ended up going to Dollywood for 4th of July night to watch the fireworks.

I hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July weekend as well.

Gender Reveal Fiesta

I can't begin to tell you how special this family is to me! Not only are Alistair and Joseph my friends, I have had the pleasure of being able to experience every stage of this whole pregnancy journey with them. I was one of the first people they told about their pregnancy and was able to photograph the exciting news so they could announce it to their family. You can check out that session here.

When she asked if I could capture her gender reveal party, of course I couldn't say no! Not only did I get to capture this exciting moment in their pregnancy journey, I was the only one who knew what they were having before they even did!

After they had their ultrasound, I met up with them to get a sealed envelope with the ultrasound inside. I filled the piƱata with the appropriate color and brought it to the party with me.

I'm happy to say I was able to keep the secret despite everyone asking me for clues on the babies gender.

Here are some pictures from the fiesta.

I'm so excited for the Dorris family to be having a boy! I can't wait to capture their maternity pictures for them next month!

Jamberry July 2016

Good afternoon everyone! Can you believe that we are already half way through the year? As I get older, the years feel like they go faster. So who is ready to hear about all the new JAMazing products Jamberry has to offer for July?

Here is July's Sisters' Style Exclusive wrap! With summer in full swing, many people are visiting the beach. This month's Sisters' Style wrap is all about beach vibes. These wraps will be available for purchase until July 31st.

This month's Stylebox is all about summer. There are three different styles to choose from: Feminine, Classic, and Trendy. Subscribe by July 15th to get this month's box. Included in this Stylebox is also a bracelet along with two exclusive wraps.

This months Color Pop is Purple Reign. This lacquer will only be available for purchase while supplies last, so you will want to order as soon as you can before it is no longer available.

Jamberry keeps surprising us with new Disney Inspired wraps! Even though the Princess Ariel Collection was retired, there is a new Ariel Inspired wrap available for purchase

As if Jamberry wasn't cool enough with the Disney Collection by Jamberry, I am so excited to announce even more awesomeness! MARVEL presented by Jamberry! Yes, marvel wraps! You can purchase these wraps now!

The summer Olympics are only one month away! Jamberry is sponsoring 15 female US athletes for the Summer Games! Jamberry has created a special line of nail wraps and will be giving a part of the proceeds from every wrap we sell directly to the athletes! Why is this so important? Did you know that 60% of US athletes receive less than $12 K a year from the US Team to fund their training? Many athletes are forced to work at retail or other flexible jobs and scramble to make even basic financial obligations. Unlike other countries that fully fund their athletes, US athletes make huge personal financial sacrifices in order to chase their dreams. The most impactful thing we can do is supply direct financial support. You have an opportunity to help Jamberry do something really special for these athletes. Not only are we able to help 15 beautiful and talented women, these wraps are gorgeous! These wraps are now all available for purchase.

Jamberry collaborated with an Australian nail artist and they came out with some beautiful new designs! Introducing the SoNailicous X Jamberry collection! Check out the twist and Classic French tips here.

As if summer wasn't already fun enough, Jamberry has a new collection coming out inspired by the best selling swimsuits from Swimsuits For All. These wraps will become available for purchase on July 7th!

Memorial Day in Indiana

For Memorial Day weekend we took a trip up to Evansville, Indiana. That is where my husband was born and grew up in so we were also visiting his family.

While we were there we visited the Mesker Park Zoo, I got to try G.D. Ritzy's, and we went to the Children's Museum. The zoo was a lot bigger than we thought it would be, so we let our boys walk instead of bringing their strollers. The heat mixed with more walking than we thought, they ended up on our shoulders for half of it. It really was a nice zoo and had plenty to see and do.

I got to try G.D. Ritzy's for the first time, and oh my goodness, their ice cream is amazing. We went back two days in a row so I could get some more, and I don't think that is just the pregnancy talking.

We also went to the Children's museum in downtown Evansville. I wish we had more time there because the place was really awesome and my boys loved it! Three stories, plus a water room!

On our way home we decided to stop by the Opry Mills Malls in Nashville. We ate dinner at The Aquarium restaurant. It was a neat experience and the atmosphere was great, but not sure if I would go again. I ordered something I didn't really want, that may be the pregnancy talking this time. My husband on the other hand, loved his food.

Over all it was a great three day weekend.
