Andrew's 4th Birthday at Disneyland

What could make a first visit to Disneyland even more special? How about a birthday?! On our trip to Disneyland, my oldest had his 4th birthday. It was our 4th day at the parks, so we made the day all about him and what he wanted to do, of course with some special surprises as well.

Disclaimer: I don't claim to be an expert, but I do feel like I have gone enough times to give adequate reviews. Also, these are just my personal opinions from my experiences, so please keep that in mind when reading my reviews. I would always suggest you experience these things for yourself!

First, we had a lunch reservation at the Blue Bayou! This is a sit down restaurant that is located inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. We were able to get a seat right next to the water and watch all the boats go by. It was a little dark (kept with the theming) It would make a perfect date night though! The food was absolutely AMAZING!! I would 100% eat there again, just for the food! They also brought Andrew, our birthday boy, a free chocolate Mickey dessert with a candle. (Of course I forgot to take a picture)

After lunch, we rode some rides until our reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Most people think this is just for girls, but they have Knight packages as well. We made a reservation for both our boys, but Anakin (our second child) wasn't a fan of wanting to sit in the seat. Andrew got his hair styled and "dragon scales" put in it, along with some pixie dust. (I may have gotten some Pixie dust too, because you are never too old for that!) They also got a really awesome shield and sword to keep! When those curtains moved for the mirror so he could see himself, he got soooo excited!

Shout out to our wonderful Fairy Godmother in Training, Britany! We actually met on Facebook through a Disney group. This was the trip we were able to meet in person!

Andrew's favorite area was Cars Land and he was finally tall enough to ride Radiator Racers! We loved everything about this land and the rides!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed following along on our adventures!
