A fun Fall Weekend

One weekend in October we decided it was time to get out of the house for a little bit. With three kids, it's definitely a challenge, especially when one is a newborn.

The Shriner Circus was in town for the weekend and we got free tickets so we decided to go. The last time we went to the circus was when I was pregnant with my first, so this was our first experience with kids.

We went to the early afternoon show. It was a slow start with all of the introductions, it made the kids a bit restless. Most of the performances kept their attention, while some were just too boring for them. We decided to leave at intermission because the kids needed a nap and we were already there for over two hours, which for toddlers is a long time to sit. We still enjoyed our time we spent there.

We also went to our local Boo at the Zoo. It was the last one of the year and it was VERY busy. We were not expecting that many people to be there, but we still had a great time. We bought our tickets before hand so we could go right in when we arrived. We did the candy treat trail first. Then went to visit all the Disney princesses. Even with how busy it was, we still had time to go to the dance party on the other side of the park.

My oldest dressed as Iron man. My youngest son was not up for a costume or pictures, he just wanted to go trick or treating. My youngest was dresses as Snow White.

We had a great time at the circus and Boo at the Zoo for a weekend of fun.
