HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 

I hope everyone had a wonderful 2014 and going to have an even better 2015, especially if it's your wedding year!

With each new year, this business grows just a little bit more. I'm ready to make 2015 my greatest yet!

 

As a business still starting up, I have MANY goals I want to reach. I've written a list of short term goals for 2015. I debated whether to keep them to myself or to share with you all. YOU are the reason I set goals and YOU are the ones who can help me reach them, so what better person to hold me accountable then YOU?

 

Here are a few of my 2015 goals

1. I would like to book at least 12 brides to average one a month. (I know this doesn't seem like much, but I'm taking baby steps)

2. I would like to organize at least 4 style shoot (one for each season) I already have one scheduled in January.

3. I would like my facebook page to get at least 500 fans (I'm currently at 298)

4. I would like to get at least 12 sales on my new ETSY shop, averaging one a month. (Separate from booking 12 brides)

5. Get a website up and running.

6. Have at least 25 people sign up for our email newsletters. (Currently have 19)

 

I know it doesn't seem like much, but it's a start. We all have to start somewhere right?

Real Weddings: Kirstie and Mike



Hello everyone!

 

Is everyone ready for the holidays? I know I'm ready for Thanksgiving, but not looking forward to Black Friday. Let the crazy hours begin!

 

It's time for another real wedding post before the craziness of the holidays hit.

 

Kirstie is my best friend, has been since our senior year of high school. Today is actually her birthday too! We instantly clicked and have been friends ever since. Even though we are no longer in high school, we live thousands of miles away, and both have babies, every time we talk, it's like we've never been apart.

 

I've seen Kirstie go through some of the hardest times in her life and she has always pushed through. She's one of the strongest woman I have ever met. I could hear the joy in her voice and see it in her face whenever she was with Mike or talked about him. I think I knew before they did that they would be together forever. ;)

 

They got married on a California beach on July 14, 2012. I wished so badly I could have been there for her on her special day, but finances said otherwise. Naturally I had to make her something for her wedding. She was absolutely beautiful!

 

I made her a Bride hair piece. I wish this sweet couple the absolute best!

Style Shoot Fall 2014

 

Hello everyone!

 

I'm so excited to finally be posting this blog! It's our first ever style shoot! These shoots are designed to help local vendors show case their work for all the Brides out there. Whether it is to get ideas for their own wedding or they just want to see these vendors work, style shoots are a great resource for all Brides. Plus, we had a TON of fun!

 

I'm hoping to do at least one shoot a season, if not more.

Real Weddings: Mitch and Holly

 

Good evening everyone!

 

It's time for another real wedding!

I have known this couple ever since before they even started dating, years ago! Actually, if it wasn't for these two, I never would have met my husband!

 

Holly and I were friends, and Mitch and Addison (my husband) were friends. We all met together at a church camp back in 2008, I think? We've seen this couple through all of the troubled times and milestones. They got married on February 25, 2012. They now have a sweet one year old son, who is friends with my son. 

 

I was honored to be asked to be a bridesmaid to such a close friend. My husband was even Mitch's best man, so needless to say, this couple is very precious to me and my family.

 

Of course I had to make something for their wedding.
